Tackle Your TBR Readathon 2014

I was invited by Tressa at Wishful Endings to participate in a binge-reading extravaganza–complete with challenges, giveaways, and encouragement as we try to read through as much of our TBR list as possible from September 8th-20th.

My TBR list is pretty large, but here are the books I’m hoping to read next month:

Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge

Of Neptune by Anna Banks

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins

Fire byKristin Cashore

Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore

If by some miracle I am able to read all of these, I’ll just keep working through my TBR list on Goodreads :).

I would love for you to join in! If you’d like to, just click on the picture above to sign up.

Thanks so much for joining us, Jessica! This is an awesome list, by the way. I’ve read all of them, but Isla, and really loved them all, so I hope you do too!!

Thanks for inviting me to join in, Tressa! And good to know these are all ones you recommend! πŸ™‚

I’ve only read the two by Cashore, and man, they are soooo good! πŸ™‚ And I’m about to go pick up ISLA from the library today, and I am so excited I have book butterflies in my stomach, lol. Good luck on your TBR challenge! πŸ™‚

I’m reading Graceling now, and it’s soo good–can definitely see what all the hype was about! Isla is pretty much supposed to be the best contemp YA ever, so I understand the butterflies! πŸ˜‰

I think it’s so funny that your goal over the summer was to do an additional post each week with your RSW post, and you weren’t able to do that, but then now that it’s over you’ve done three more! =) Making up for lost time? Those are great choices! I have Bitterblue on my list (actually it’s waiting for me on my ebook!). And I listened to Cruel Beauty because I got the audiobook for free through SYNC. It was such a great book, and I loved the narrator (a big deal when it comes to audiobooks!). Enjoy those reads! I hope you get to all of them.

It’s weird, right?? But at least it got me blogging ;). I’ve heard good things about Cruel Beauty, too! Glad you enjoyed the audiobook–that’s so true about the narrator. I just got an email saying Audible was starting production on the audiobook of Arcana, so I’m really excited to see who they choose to narrate!

I keep running into these two books on a lot of people’s lists — Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas and Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins — I think I’m going to have to check them out as soon as I read down the TBR stack just a bit. Good luck with your goals.

That’s exactly why I’m reading them, too. I’ve heard so much about both! I’m enjoying Throne of Glass so far.

I haven’t read any of these, but they all look great! I love finding new books. Best of luck!

Thanks, Katie! Good luck to you, too πŸ™‚
